The K-KID callsign was adopted on May 8, 1998.  K-KID covers 14 counties is South Central Missouri. 

From Franklin to Pulaski east to west, and Gasconade to Shannon north to south. 

Phelps, Dent and Crawford counties constitute the core of our listening area.

K-KID's classic rock format has developed a dedicated listening audience over the last 28 years.
